It is important to be careful and responsible in posting information online. If you voluntarily disclose information through the Site, that information may be viewed, collected and/or used by third parties without our knowledge, which could result in your receipt of unsolicited messages from such third parties.

Property Walk may automatically collect certain information about the computer or device you use to access the Site. Information which may be collected and analyzed includes geolocation information, unique device identifiers and other information about your mobile phone or other mobile device(s), IP addresses, browser types and language, operating system, and the country or state from which you accessed the Site. We also may collect and store information related to the manner in which you interact with the Site, including: platform type, referring and exit pages or URLs, domain names, pages and content viewed, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time you used the Site, the frequency of your use, and other comparable information. We may also use third-party analytics providers and technologies, as described below, including cookies and similar tools, to assist in collecting this information.

We may also capture other data, including search criteria and results. In some circumstances, this information will be associated with a unique identifier (not intended for use in identifying you) for our internal use, in which case this identifier will be treated as Property Walk’s information and will not be subject to this Privacy Policy’s restrictions on the use of this information.
We may collect and use information about your location to customize your use of the Site with location-based information, advertising, and features. To do so, your location information may be shared with our contractors, vendors or advertisers. If you are accessing the Site through a mobile device and do not want wish to provide such location-tracking information, the GPS or other location-tracking functions on your device can be disabled if the device allows you to do so.

The cookies may reflect de-identified data linked to or derived from data you have submitted to us. We and our vendors may also use other Internet technologies to deliver or communicate with cookies and track your use of the Site, and serve you ads when you are on other websites or the Internet where those cookies can be accessed. We also may include Web beacons in e-mail messages or newsletters to determine if the message has been opened and for other analytical purposes. We may also gather additional information through other technological methods.

If desired, you can modify your browser setting to decline cookies. If you do so, it is possible that you may not be able to sign in, customize, or use some of the interactive features of the Site. Also note that flash cookies operate differently than browser cookies, and cookie management tools available in a web browser will not remove flash cookies. To manage flash cookies, please visit the Adobe website and make any changes at the Global Privacy Settings Panel.

If we obtain information about you from third parties such as marketers, partners or researchers, we may combine that with information we collect from you as well as with information derived from any other subscription, product, or service we provide.

The information collected by the Site may be aggregated or de-identified through various means so that the information does not by itself identify you. 3. How user information is shared with third parties

We may make information provided or collected by you available to other companies, websites, applications or people in the following circumstances:

We may rent, share or sell this information with non-affiliated third parties in order to provide products or services you have requested, with your permission, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

We may disclose this information in response to court orders, subpoenas, or other legal process we receive or, if needed, to protect our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

We may share your information with third-party advertisers and advertising networks or others with whom we have a contractual relationship.

We may disclose your information based on a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to investigate or take action against possible illegal activities, potential threats to any person’s physical safety, suspected fraud, violations of this Privacy Policy or Property Walk’s Terms of Service, and/or to protect the rights of Property Walk, its employees, users or the public. Such disclosure could involve sharing your information with law enforcement, government agencies, courts, or other organizations.

Your information may be shared in connection with any merger, reorganization, sale of Property Walk assets, or the financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by a third party.

In our discretion, we may aggregate and/or de-identify your information so that it no longer relates specifically to you as an individual. Any use or disclosure of aggregated or de-identified information is not subject to this Privacy Policy, so it may be disclosed to others for any purpose, without limitation.

4. Online analytics and tailored advertising

We may use third-party web analytics services on our Site, such as those offered by Google Analytics. Such services use technology to help analyze how people use the Site, such as by noting any website from which you arrive. The information (including your IP address) collected by this technology will be disclosed to or collected directly by these service providers, who use it to analyze your use of the Site. We also may use such services for advertising purposes, as set forth below. To prevent Google Analytics from using your information in the above-described manner, the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on may be installed by clicking here.

When you are using the Site, Property Walk may serve you with ads based on such factors as the content of the page(s) you are visiting, information provided by you such as your age or gender, the content of your searches and any demographic data, content or other information you provide. These ads may be based on either your current activities or your activities over time, and may be specifically tailored to your interests.

In addition, third parties whose products or services are accessible or advertised through the Site may place cookies or other technologies on your computer, mobile phone, or other device to track or collect information about your use of the Site in order to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on past visits to the Site, and report how our ad impressions, other uses of ad services, and interactions with such ad impressions and services relate to visits to and use of the Site. We may also allow other third parties (including ad networks and ad servers) to serve tailored ads to you on the Site, or to access their own cookies or other tracking technologies on any computer, mobile phone, or other device you use to access the Site. We also may share with third-party advertisers a hashed version of your email address, solely in non-human readable form, as well as content that you share publicly when using the Site (including user-generated content) for purposes of delivering tailored advertising. We have no access to, nor does this Privacy Policy govern, the use of cookies or other tracking technologies which may be placed on any computer, mobile phone, or other device you use to access the Site by non-affiliated, third party ad technology, ad servers, ad networks or any other non-affiliated third parties. Parties who use these technologies may offer a way to opt out of ad targeting. If you would like to learn more about tailored browser advertising and how to control cookies from being put on your computer to deliver tailored advertising, please visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s Consumer Opt-Out link, the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Opt-Out link or TRUSTe’s Advertising Choices Page to opt out of tailored advertising from participating companies.

To opt out of Google Analytics for display advertising or to customize Google display network ads, you can visit the Google Ads Settings page. To the extent that advertising technology is integrated into the Site, you may still receive advertisements even if you opt out of tailored advertising. In that case, ads may appear but will not be tailored. Note that we do not control any of the above opt-out links and have no responsibility for your decisions regarding the use of these mechanisms or their continued availability or reliability.

When using a mobile application, you may from time to time receive tailored in-application advertisements. Each operating system, iOS for Apple phones, Android for Android devices and Windows for Microsoft devices has its own instructions for preventing the delivery of tailored in-application advertising. You may review the support materials and/or the privacy settings for the respective operating systems in order to opt-out of tailored in-application advertisements. For any other devices and/or operating systems, please check the privacy settings for the applicable device or contact the platform operator. Note that Property Walk may use a third-party vendor to deliver advertisements on mobile applications or for mobile application analytics.
